and how does it reduce the strength of aspirin?

also, when making aspirin- would time be a limitation when using glass rod to induce crystallisation?
what could be other limitations or errors?

the reaction of salicylic acid and anhydride produce aspirin and ethanioc acid, not water, i don't really know how it would reduce the strength of aspirin, since the reaction forms it?, im not sure about the other questions sorry,
