The best way to get better at language analysis in my opinion is to look at the some upper-range language analysis essays, there are plenty online to look at and the ones in the VCAA Assessment Reports for English are great starting block. Read through them and learn the structure of a language analysis essay because once you know how to structure it the rest comes easy.

Also submit a few practice language analysis essays to your English teacher because that's the fastest way to improve by being told what you're doing well and what needs work. Look through the newspaper find an article and write up a language analysis for it or use articles from past English exams.

Hope that helps.

Thanks so much, I'll start doing that.
Would I find any language analysis examples on this website?
