Which is more competitive, postgrad melbourne medicine or undergraduate monash medicine, in terms of applicants to places ratio?

hmmm that's a tough one...i've heard there is more competition in terms of applicants for postgraduate medicine, not sure how correct that is...

Postgrad med uses a preference system so the numbers aren't that simple. I gave you a document a while ago about postgraduate medicine, which I strongly encourage you to read properly (the answer to your MD question is in there)

Does it really matter?

Either way you'd want to be near the top of all the criteria to be in with a good chance of selection. And that's not going to be easy. Don't play a numbers/ratio/percentile game, play a "do the best I can" game.

Good luck :)
