6 days enough?

My friend asked me if there was still time for him to do well in physics considering he hasn't done much all year. Seeing as theres only 6 days left what do you think? Can someone honestly get an A or A+ with 6 days of cramming?

6 days is more than enough, I got an A+ on less time than that. Seriously, a decent cheat sheet can get you an A to A+ imo.

possibly, as vegemite has stated cheat sheets help a lot. I hated physics but managed to pull off a good score (having done the bare minimum throughout the year) within about 3 days of study, when i finally decided i should give the exam papers a shot

I'm in exactly the same position as your friend. Slept/daydreamed in every physics class this year. After i finish the detailed studies tomorrow just gonna do the whole checkpoints book and like four practice exams so i at least know the course  :o plus with physics the exam is finishable unlike chem where timings a bigger issue.
Wow just realized how screwed i am for this subject  :'(

Do you have any tips for using the cheat sheet effectively during the exam?  I'm constructing my cheatsheet now and it's looking pretty good, should I put some model answers and stuff it in? :)

Yeah, mine (I uploaded it to the notes section, but it's handwritten and kinda hard to read to anyone but me haha) was packed with theory (which kinda had model answers in it), equations, graphs, etc.

For those who are under-prepared, the more of the course YOU (and this is important that you write it yourself imo) can cram into it the better you will be. Just try not to write it on the day of the exam, spend the time before the exam slamming as many VCAA exams as possible (that's what I did anyway, I had 3 hours lol).

How many VCAA exams did you end up doing? I've done the VCAA ones throughout the year (my teacher gives us these "exam-packs" that we just do for normal revision throughout unit 3), but I don't know if I should re-do them or do company papers.

How about the same question for Chemistry?
Aspiring doctor. Why? For the same four reasons as everybody else. Chicks, money, power and chicks.

I don't think that works for chemistry, in physics you have a cheat sheet so yet can get away with it plus you can just pick equations and plug in numbers and get answers, but chemistry you need to know what your doing. Therefore in my opinion it wouldn't work for chemistry unless you have been preparing throughout the year properly and have attempted some exam questions  :)

Nope, I can't see anyone cramming for chem to a great deal of success unfortunately :(

You boss. And you still ended up with a 40+ SS.
Luckily I chose to focus on Chem instead of Physics because I would be in quite the predicament had I done otherwise :p

In Year 11, I crammed on the day before the exam and ended up getting 87%
You can learn the whole course in 6 days, if he has the interest and motivation.
