Just be careful of not setting yourself up for disappointment though..
coming out of exam 1 last year, I thought I tore it apart (86/87+), but in the end only managed a 83...
I'm sure you did well, but yeah be careful not to expect too much

Wow, had no idea I would be looking at the high of school, my guess was the 43mark.

5 was the most marks I think I could have lost, hopefully more the 3 mark.

Of my class of 13ish there are only 2 of us actually trying (in the 85% mark for SAC's)

Thankyou very much!!!
I wouldnt be going too confident with this.. Just in case you didnt realise that you made a few mistakes in theory, or a few careless mistakes in practical..

Do you think ~80/90 would scrape a mid A+? Any chance of still getting 45+ if I kill the end of year?

Yeah probably, seeing as last year's cut-off was 75, and I hear this year is considerably harder

and you could probably still get a 45+, just make sure you're really diligent in your unit 4 study!

DO remember that it is a new study design so they will be slightly more lenient.. I dont think the cut off will change much from 75

I spoke to an exam marker and he said the A+ cut off will be the lowest it has ever been this year for the mid year

Really hoping for something like this. Not finishing that exam and rushing for any marks I could get at the end was terrible

Dont think so. That is the same as last year and considering 2/3 of the state didnt even finish its logical to think it would be lower

Yeah, same. I seriously hope its a lower cutoff, or I'm screwed. Simon Phelan says the exam is 'different' but not more difficult.
