Mid-semester offers?

Has anyone trying to switch courses received offers yet?
Two rounds have already passed but I still haven't received a single one.
I'm trying to switch from science to commerce, and am getting kinda worried.

Could it be that all our results have not been published yet? There are two more rounds left.. But yeah.. :(

UoM only participates in Round 2 (29 June or today) and Round 4 (13 July).  So Round 2 is for people who deferred right after year 12 and only have year 12 results available and Round 4 is for other candidates.

Ahh thank you..
Do you think I have a reasonable shot in round 4 then? Or are spaces going to be very limited? Given my past atar and decent first sem grades?
I really need this transfer lmaoo..

Well you finished year 12 last year I believe and you've definitely achieved higher than the Clearly-In.  Additionally, you've only done one semester of uni, so you should be given the green light.

I applied to transfer from Postgraduate Diploma of Science (Mathematics) to Master of Science (Mathematics) and got a conditional offer (need to pass every subject and have a 65 average among my best 4 Maths subjects - excluding Systems Modelling and Simulation). So far I got 74 for Transforms, 65 for Graph Theory, currently sitting on a 60 for Numerical and Symbolic Maths (waiting for my final mark) and I'll have use a 59 from one of my maths subjects last year. Fingers crossed that I get the mark I need in Numerical and Symbolic Maths to transfer.

My friend averaged 73 for his Sem 1 Uni results and got into BSc at UoM. He was also under the clearly-in ATAR as I was, maybe 1 mark higher than me, ATAR wise

My average of 85 doesn't get in.

Is that it?

That's weird, i would've thought you would get in and not him...
Maybe because it was mid-sem transfer they focused more on ATAR then uni results? I don't know much about transferring so i'm just guessing lol
Try again at the end of next sem you should get in with those results

yay, got the offer. :D

I guess I'm pretty lucky considering that my ATAR was 19 lower than the 2012 clearly-in.......

Did you check your email though? It didn't show the offer on VTAC, but it did show it in my email. dw, i found it on VTAC on the second tab.>.<

That would be weird considering that I didn't get that much higher; 84 in 2011 (with SEAS) and  86 in 2012 sem1.

I actually did my VCE back in 2010 so I've actually completed 1.5 years of Uni studies, but still, my ATAR was way lower than yours.

You're allowed to appeal the decision if that's the case because you have a leg to stand on here.
