How does Ranking Work ? (Methods)

i know ranking is determined by your sacs mark in comparison to your class mates, but in subjects where there are two exams the ranking is normally split per exam, like your unit 3 ranking in chemistry wont affect your unit 4 ranking, so i was wondering is their certain sacs for exam 1 and exam 2 like maybe the application task was for exam 2 or dont they get split, cos i am kinda worried now, i did really bad on application sac in comparison to others in a bad cohort, so i feel like im now screwed for method.
thanks for any feedback

Correct me if I am wrong, but for subjects with two exams, aren't rankings combined for unit 3&4?

You have GA1, GA2, GA3.

For subjects with one exam, GA1 and GA2 are for Unit 3 & Unit 4 SACs respectively and GA3 is your exam grade. (e.g. English)

For subjects with two exams, GA1 is your SAC grade for Unit 3 & 4 and GA2 and GA3 are your Unit 3 & Unit 4 exams respectively. (e.g Chemistry)

In this case, for Methods, GA1 is your Unit 3 & 4 SAC grades combined (out of 100) and GA2 and GA 3 are your Tech Free & Tech Active exams respectively. From what I've heard, weightings on GA1, GA2, GA3 are 34%, 22%,44% respectively for Maths Methods.

This is pretty good advice:

[try] NOT [to] play the numbers/rank/scores game. Play the "do the best I can" game.
