hi guys i would like to ask anyone that has or is currently studing mechatronics about the job prospects, how hard is it to get a job as mechatroncis engineer or electrical or mechanical ?
Is it worth doing mecha or should i look at alternative careers?

Personally I would think that mechatronics, especially if you head into the robotics type area, will probably be one of the fastest growing employment areas in the next 10 or so year... I don't imagine you'd have too much trouble - especially if you're good.

As with all engineering though, not just mechatronics, be willing to go overseas or at the very least interstate; a lot of Australians do engineering and think they're going to get a job if not in their local city, at least still in the country. Often this is not the case!
