Hey, you study IB right? So why do you need to do VCE? You can apply uni with your IB scores

I did IB Level 1 for a year and didn't quite like it. I only applied for it be accredited as 12 units.

IB actually is similar to VCE though but its a bit at a higher level I think

I got my SoM and got 66.5/75 or 133/150 which I am content with. :) Has anyone with a previous year 63/75ish mark received a SS above 43?

I just received my statement of marks: 72.5/75 or 145/150. Is a 47 study score still possible given that it was a supposedly 'easy' exam?

145/150 would most likely get you a 50 if you do the same on the end of year dude!

Congratulations firstly on your score :) A 50, really? What is if I'm ranked 2 or 3 in the cohort, and the people above me got B+'s on the exam?

That could lower your grades a bit, just try your best to get ahead of them in unit 4 to solve that. :) But Bazza got around 71/75 on last years exams to get a 50, a 72.5 would be around even and if you match it in your unit 4 exam you should have nothing to worry about.

yeah i got 70 on exam 1 last year, and 71 on exam 2
70 was a good score last year (60 cutoff) but 72.5 is definitely huge even with a higher cutoff.
my 71 was a bad score (64.5 cutoff) but if you can 70+ end of years and with good SACs you'll be in line for a 50 easy

After reading through my SoM some more I realized I got 8 half marks on different 2 mark questions. Is it worth inspecting a disputing marks or?

Nice mark :)
Due to the high cutoff it will be hard for you to get a 50, but if you can full mark the second exam it's still a possiblity

lol, last year i lost 8 half marks and one full mark on U3, i don't think there's much point as Bio is sorta subjective so VCAA won't allow you to change easily
