any short-cuts to determine the reaction. Like in spontaneous reactions we go from the top left to bottom right. Or do we always have to find the strongest oxidant and strongest redundant. Also what's the phenomenon that causes less or more volts to be produced even though it occurs at SLC. Why does it happen?

You don't seem to be grasping the concept of electrolysis correctly. In electrolysis you are supplying energy to the reaction which reverses the spontaneous redox reaction.
