If what you said is correct then yes, you have a certain chance to get in, but you may be selected after they have chosen the people who have gotten at or over the clearly in (90?). This would probably vary from year to year.

The minimum is 85, but if you are a domestic student, then whichever year you apply in, whether or not you get in will be determined by that year's Clearly-In.  So if the Clearly-In dropped to 85 that year and you got 86, then you're in.

With regards to SEAS, if you qualify for the selection guarantee then you only need an ATAR of 78 or over.  All other SEAS/Access Melbourne applicants will be considered but it will only be on a case-to-case basis and no guarantee.

thanks golden however the cleary in for 2013 is like 90:/ just guess ill try for my best

and bazza how does it not help me? i can put that on my SEAS form under age category? right?

Dude if everyone that was born in 1995 got into their course of choice with an ATAR below the clearly-in, there would be a huge problem.

I know someone who turned 16 during year 12, got a 99.95, one of the highest UMAT scores in history, a scholarship to melbourne university medicine, graduated from medicine equal top of the cohort.

He never got any special consideration for his age.
Aspiring doctor. Why? For the same four reasons as everybody else. Chicks, money, power and chicks.

If you think your age has negatively affected you then you can apply for SEAS, but there's no bonus directly related to being underage
