SEAS - Application for Category 4

So I recently discovered that I could apply for category 4 SEAS after I took a look at the requirements and although my parents receive a few payments from centrelink (such as family tax benefit A, low income etc etc) I do not, yet my careers coordinater says I should apply anyway.
Because I do not have my own centrelink benefits (not that I know of) I have to write a statement on how I am financially disadvantaged and need a supporting statement from someone else.
So I was just wondering what people wrote on their thingos because it says max 2000 words and I am unsure how to write it if it is suppose to be lengthy as I can probably state my difficulties in a paragraph.
And what kind of people do I need to ask for a supporting statement from since it says that the person cannot be related to me or be living with me and I have told probably no one that I know that my family is having economic issues.
