Overall only. Well, sum of the three sections (which is basically pretty much overall x 3).

Okay thanks guys that's a relief.  :)
Which universities require 50-50-50 on each section?
Also roughly what sort of atar would be required now for me to obtain a spot in monash?

Thanks for you help!

99+ wouldn't hurt, and you still have to do well on the interview.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Guys and gals,

A quick guide on umat results and the inevitable "zomg, will I get interview at monash." Anything around 85 (+ or - a few) onwards keep monash med first preference. If you boss atar then you can cop an interview and beat the chumps that think they are sitting pretty with high umats but shit interviews. Cutoff will probably be around 94-95 for first round offers. Ideally for second round you want high 80's to low 90's with good atar  (99+)

I know the anxiety you are feeling, happy to answer any queestions regarding this. Don't be scared to hit me up.

xoxo

I thought Monash wants some 98 Atar kids for 2nd round this year.  They set up a new scholarship i think...

Is it worthwhile putting undergraduate medicine at Monash as part of my preferences (1,2,3 for the three places), considering that I got a percentile <60? I don't want to be a doctor, it's more so guilt by family and I tend to buckle under it, even for the most simplest things. Dentistry seems appealing but it's out of the question because undergrad requires biology. I'm not interested in postgrad, really want that sense of security if you can understand that.

Cheers

Doesn't really matter, if your scores are not high enough, you will be given your next highest preference whether it be 6 or 12

If you don't wanna become a doctor, whats the point of putting MBBS?

If you're not interested in med, there's no real point in having it up there. And in all honesty, with that UMAT there really isn't a chance anyway :(

Leave it there if you like, but all they're doing is clogging up preferences, VTAC will just skip them anyway.

I got a percentile score of 89. I was very disappointed to be honest because I was hoping to get in Monash. I was wondering though whether they still have second round interviews?

idk, there's no point in leaving it up there, so you might as well to be honest.
