Just wondering if SEAS affects the umat requirements for an interview in any way?

Well, if you totally bomb the interview then you won't make it.

But stay positive! :)

Be careful, it's easier to do badly in an interview than you think, I didn't think I bombed the UNSW Interview (thought I did reasonable, not well, but OK at least) and I didn't get any offers, not even a bonded place.

Thanks you guys - I'll keep that in mind!! :)

I was wondering, if I scored so low on the umat if I should even bother trying to do achieve medicine?

There's still JCU and Griffith!

And another one  :)

Guys - just something to consider - I posted before on this, but I don't know whether many ppl know about it.

ANU offers a PhB/MBBS degree - 7 years. ATAR 99+. Reference needed, written application needed. There may also be an interview. UMAT is NOT considered.

http://cmbe-cpms.anu.edu.au/files/phb_application1.pdf

Above is the application form for those who are interested!

Plus Syd Uni  ;)

Never give up on your dream!!!

Thanks guys, I'll consider them.  :)

I'm surprised that I'm not feeling too depressed, disappointed, but not depressed.

I guess this is more of a life lesson to not give up on anything you've dreamt for, more than anything else. Time to smash VCE.

68 47(wtf) and 75, 94th percentile. What are my chances of getting a first round interview before you get your atar? Also its not possible for me to get a second round entry unless i put medicine first is it? Because i'm really tossing up between that and actuarial studies

Haha, I was tossing up between the two too!

Look, I think you've got a good chance of a first round offer as the UMAT cut *should* go down :)

I disagree, I doubt that the UMAT cut will go down, considering it's been going up for the past few years, but we'll see.

You forget that they don't have proper second round interviews, so there would be more interview places for this round.
