Thanks. Is it actually any good though or is it merely repeating the basics?

I hear it's pretty good =3

What do you mean by 'repeating the basics', exactly?

As in are they going to simply outline the main points or are they going to tear apart the content ?? =P The real benefit for me is gaining a different insight on what others think about the set content and how they would respond to different questions/prompts. As i'm sure you have established some of the stuff that the philosopher's say remain unclear and whilst me and my cohort have similar views on their arguments there is no assuring that we are in fact right. Plus there is barely any back up or extra information for philosophers such as Weil, nor are there any other practice exams except those provided by the VCAA.(well atleast i believe)

As the description in the link explains, the lecture will be predominately focused on exam technique, examining the best ways to go about answering different types of questions. However, there will also be a content review component where the most commonly misunderstood areas of the course will be addressed. Of additional interest to you might be the fact that all attendees will be given a few trial exams which you wont be able to get anywhere else. For more details read the aforementioned lecture blurb in the link EZ gave =)
