What subject should I drop?

As the title says, I need a bit of help on what subjects to drop.
Subject selection was in term 3, though I am reconsidering my choices. If any of you have seen my previous topics, I wish to do Maths Methods next year. I did it earlier this year but dropped it for general, now I chose further for year 12 on my selection paper, though after properly considering my uni options, doing methods will open a lot more course opportunities.

I didn't see myself as the type of person with a goal of doing one particular thing, eg. if i wanted to do art, i would base my subjects around media, studio and art, but I tried to keep my options open to fields I felt confident in - Law, Business and IT, for this reasoning, I did 1/2 -

Accounting, Business Management, Legal Studies, General Maths, English, IT:Apps.

Though as of recent, i've really wanted to do either something IT related or Commerce/Accounting related.
Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting @ Monash requires methods, and even UoM requires methods for Commerce.

Now, I know I want to do methods, the problem is what to drop, all my subjects keep all possible options open, and even if I was to score low in methods but at least get my required 25, i'm relying on the Primary 4 to not affect my ATAR.

My selections for next year are - Accounting, Legal Studies, Further, IT:Apps and English

I'm top of the class in all my current classes except for English and dropped Business due to the low scaling and I have more interest in the mathematical side of things eg. Accounting.

Accounting and English are my two must keeps, so its whether to drop Legal, Further or IT.

-If I drop Legal, my +5 scaling on methods goes to waste on the further and IT negative scaling of around the same amount, depending if i get a high SS
-Legal is my favourite subject though apparently the units next year are dry and Legal requires a lot to remember, time consuming
-Further maths and IT are so easy, getting around 45+ in them would be easy, leaving me time to study for methods
-Despite its scaling, IT is a real strong point and I can't see myself not doing it
-I like maths and would like to do 2 maths and accounting, i'm better at working with numbers than writing.
-I could replace further for methods and it would fit in my timetable perfectly (basically me going back to my old methods class)

I'm confused and would like some help please.
Sorry if I made it all confusing!

This is why I regret not doing a 3/4 in yr 11. :(

I think you should drop IT.
My reasoning is; Methods and Further are a good combo, more enhanced math skills from Methods will come off in Further. Sort of like fishing and cooking in Runescape. (and IT scales like a bitch. Srsly, my gf got 47 down to 45).
Legal is your favourite subject so you have to keep it. You should always study the subjects you enjoy. I personally only took Legal Units 2, 3 and 4 and loved all units. There is some overlap from Year 11 into Year 12 and I liked the concepts a lot. If it's your favourite don't listen to what anyone else says, just do it. You could replace Further and keep IT however the nature of a math subject is there's always a definitive answer so IMO would be easier to score well in for a Math-minded person. That's the way I see it. Good luck.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

If you're still not sure what you want to do then it may be wise to drop further for methods to leave the option for IT open. If you're looking to go into commerce then you'll need the methods requirement.
On the other hand, you could simply 'pick-up' methods as a sixth subject if you think you could handle it (especially if you're finding both IT and Futher easy so far)
2010 : Accounting
2011 : Methods (CAS) | Chemistry  | Physics  | English Language  | Specialist Maths

2012: BCom/BSc @ Monash!

No offence, but this attitude isn't really great to have for year 12 - a 45 in anything is never easy.
In my opinion, drop further - to get a 45 is extremely difficult, given the tiny amount of mistakes that can be made and the extreme competition. Also, doing two maths given you didn't like methods in the first place is probably a bad idea. Motivation is really important next year, and if you're doing two maths when you're not really interested in mathematics is a bad move - I've seen it fail with too people many this year. Keep what you enjoy and keep methods to do what you want after school.

Honestly, you shouldn't be basing your subject choices on scaling at all. This is a very misguided way to go about it.

IT:A may be easy (i did it) but it scales down by a metric shitload to compensate. Just in the same way hard subjects scale up. This is why you shouldn't even think of anything in terms of easy or hard because you are (roughly) compensated for it.

I'm not really sure about the kind of advice you're asking for either. We can't decide what you like, thats up to you.

Choose what you like/what you're interested in and it'll be a recipe for success.

(not worth doing 1/2 IT for what its worth)

@brenden -
That's the main reason why I think I should drop it, the scaling is ridiculous.
Apparently for Legal next year though, they focus more on law making and ADR's? Law making was definitely my strong point this year, so that would be a benefit.
In relation to further, apparently there's little to no room for error in SACs and the exam if I want to get a near 50? If so, that's a bit of a risk if I want to score highly, but luckily it's scaling isn't as bad as IT.

@tony3272 -
I'm not sure if my school will allow for me to pick up a 6th subject? The selection form allowed us to choose 4 subjects for free periods next year, if I were to choose methods as a 6th, I wouldn't have free's but I could still study in my other classes which have less work loads? I'll inquire with the VCE co-ord when I go back.

@Hermione11 -
No offence taken. In all honesty, I don't work too hard for the marks I get, i'm averaging A/A+ in all of my subjects (except eng) because I chose things i'm good at, I'm motivated to get top marks next year, and i'm willing to put in the time and effort because after 12 years of schooling, I want to achieve something great in my final year.
I think I questioned that in reply to brenden, about the amount of mistakes in further, I am aware that it's a highly competitive subject, and the fact that there is little room for error is a downside, but along with accounting, they contain my most consistent marks, I didn't say I didn't like maths, I like that further is easy, but I like that methods offers a challenge, my reasoning for leaving was not because it was an overly difficult subject, that may be hard to believe and now that I think about it, I shouldn't have dropped it.

@kingpomba -
My apologies for making it confusing, I love all my subjects and their all easy to me, but it's just what subject will do best for my ATAR in the end I guess. I know I shouldn't think about scaling, but seeing as i'm aiming for the same SS in each raw, scaling makes a big difference in the end.
