How much IT:A hw have you done this year?

I've almost been neglected IT this year... Besides working on my prototype site leading up to the SAC, I haven't done any work for it at all.

I'm just curious as to how much study other people are doing for this subject.

And for the people who've done this subject already, did you guys do a lot of regular study? Or was it just cram before the exam. I know that's not good for any subject, but I'm a tech-savy guy so I'd like to think I know a fair bit already... :P
Of course I will study like a week before a SAC and will designate time for study at the end of the year.

Not much, but regular enough to keep the content fresh in my mind. Sometimes I'd feel guilty for neglecting it (like how you're feeling now) and I'd just add to or go over my notes.

Don't go overboard with SACs, but make sure you do at least one practice SAC and you should be fine.

Being tech-savvy will give you an upper hand for only some of the questions. If anything, common sense will help you the most in the exam.

You could probably get away with cramming last minute and still get a decent score, especially with a subject like ITA. A consistent workload spread throughout the year would give you a better chance of getting a more-than-decent score, though.

haha honestly, just did the IT:A text book questions over the year and finished that in term 3. Then just checkpoints + prac exams on the last 3 weeks before the exam. IMO - It:a barely needs any work :p

First post here, being a year 11 and taking IT:apps as my 3&4.
I feel like i've been neglecting the study of this subject, only studying a few days before the sacs.
Could've got an A+ instead of an A on the database SAC if so :(

I did it in year 11 too. TBH your year 11 subjects mean jackshit. Not saying neglect them ( I did this and it wasn't too bad) but make your 3/4 your 1st priority :p

Yeah my methods marks have suffered due to that, but hey I got a decent mark in my 3&4 subject, which is all that matters atm right?

Out of interest, what was your enter for IT at the end of the year?

PS. I think i've found my new home (VN) ;)

42 and i made a mistake not related to i.t >_>
most ppl will get over 40 if they just put in a bit of effort

ps: dw about ur methods and stuff now :S
I got like 60% for my 1st methods sac in yr 11 and ended up with like 80% avrg and in the end, doesn't mean anything
1st year 12 methods sac is 100% ^_^ :P hehe bragging rofl

lol but yeah, unit 3/4 > unit 1/2

Tony, do you mind if I asked for your marks for each SAC?

Thanks.
