If we get A+ for our sacs, and 10/10 for all our essays, what is the lowest study score we can get for English?
And what if we get A+ for our sacs, and 9/10 for all our essays, what is the lowest study score we can get?
Thank you.

Considering you go to Xavier, you'll highly likely get a 49+ with situation one.

You'll probably get 47+ for situation two.

Interesting. I was told that straight 8s will only get you 40. Is this true?

If you had my tutor from last year (who teaches at Xavier) then you will for sure not get lower than 8 for your exam essays.. I had no idea how to write ANY of the essays at the start of last year and still scrapped 9, 8.5, 8 thanks to her help

I'm pretty sure to get above 45 you need at least 53/60 with A+ SACs.

Although what would a pretty high A+ SAC grade with a 9 9 9 on the exam get?
2012 ATAR: 99.20
2013-2015: Bachelor of Biomedicine (Microbiology/Immunology: Infections and Immunity) at The University of Melbourne

People seem to forget that with a subject like English, SACs count for 50% of the study score, which is huge, so it accounts for a lot of "weird" study scores which don't correlate with exams.

For example, my scaled SAC scores were 97/100 and 100/100 (probably ranked 10th or so in a strong cohort with a 50, 49 and 48), so that would explain why I got a 42 with a 22.5/30 exam.

Do your teachers just mark nicely or did something go wrong for you in the exam? :/
Our teacher never give us 100 on anything on some messed up principle >.>
