Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me understand question 4f from VCAA 2011 Exam 2? How do you figure out which inequality sign to use? Thank you!

Well the k-value simply means speed, but the other way round.
High k-value means low speed.
That means when the k-value is above a certain value then it is smarter to go directly.
You calculate the first value and then you say k>=34
