You didn't necessarily have to compare and contrast the two images. You could have analysed them based on their placement in the presentation and other surrounding arguments that strengthened their usage. Therefore I think it should be find that you did them at separate points in your analysis :) As long as you mentioned both!

As far as i'm aware you wouldn't have had to compare visuals as it was a speech and so visuals were utilised to complement something the author was saying at different points in her speech. Don't worry, you won't lose marks.

Thanks brenden, I really hope so. Hope its not more than one mark. At least we don't have to any language analysis ever gain. :D

I forgot to mention the visuals as I was writing my LA however I suddenly realised what I had done so I put a red *where I wanted the image analysis to go then later put another one and explained the first visual and then put a green * and did the same thing for visual 2. Is that acceptable, even though my piece will be confusing and somewhat out of order?

Mhmmm. I mentioned the visuals very briefly as they hardly did much.

It's not like a maths or science subject where you'll just loes marks if you don't mention something - the markers judge by the "vibe" of your essay overall, first and foremost.  I imagine if your essay was fine, even IF the marker was anal, it wouldn't be a loss of more than one mark (and it probably wouldn't even be that in most cases just for the image) :)
