A few questions on the LA (i dont think it was as simple as people are claiming)

1. I have never watched Harry Potter so i made no reference to it, even tho it appeals to her entire demographic, someone who has not wacthed it wont pick up on that, which i feel would be unjust to punish students.

2. i feel as tho the placement of the pictures was vital. Many people have talked it about it supporting her anti e book arugments, but i think instead it complimented the children carrying books was no longer a worry. Which acted as a springboard to lanuch her newly persuaded readers into the 'things to worry about'. as i think it would detract from her audiences attention if it reamained up there for her imagine depraved section

3. it seems no one mentioned the juxtapositon in the second image, really?

You don't lose marks for what you haven't done, you get marks for what you've done well. You didn't have to analyse every detail present in that article, just the ones you thought were important.

I'd say don't worry about if your points are different to the majority of others. If anything, that's a good thing. As long as you back your interpretation of the image with evidence and reason, you're absolutely fine in my opinion..

I also talked about how e-books allow children to have to carry the "burden" of text books. So that's one more person you can count.

I spoke about the juxtapositioning of the second photo with the paragraph above it
and i also said that the boy had his back to the books indicating that they are in the past and what is forward is ebooks as Mrs elliot suggests i then said that image also juxtaposed with the paragraph below it where she said a young boy 'experiencing' the images instead of reading so it makes the audience doubt ebooks and how they're influencing childrens lives..

LOL YEAH I can so see that coming up on the assessment reports for 2012

Students struggled to identify the child as a girl, whilst others just referred to it as an it. It was disappointing to see that the majority of students failed to address the child as she and hence why no 10's were awarded.
