me too!
for explanation i just said
Bilateral aid is aid provided from the government of one country to the government of another country
Emergency/humanitarian aid is assistance provided during times of natural disaster [flood, earthquake, tsunami, etc] and conflict.

then gave my pre-memorised examples

all good?

Yeah the bilateral one seems identical to what i wrote, but i also included for the emergency aid that it was directly provided to the communities in need (just to go a bit further with my answer :p)

Yep it's great that you mentioned that emergency aid is for natural disasters and I'm pretty sure that will get you the 1 mark (as emergency relief aid primarily is focused on natural disasters and conflict). Alternatively you could've gone a bit further and explained it was only short term and direct, but I think that's just pushing it a bit since it's only 1 mark.

How did everyone justify picking their low mortality strata country?
I just used U5MR but there was no adult mortality rates
I'm thinking 1 mark for picking the right country and 1 for justification using data on U5MR?

Hmm, was that the very last question with the table?

I thought it was a 4 mark question. Had all these mortality rates and %'s in it. I chose the one that seemed the lowest to me (Chad) and compared it with Australia. I wrote 4 different statistics for the full 4 marks comparing it with Australia

There was identify a country and use data to justify [2 marks]
and then account for the differences [i used access to health care and access to education.  i then compared australia and chad for both [2 marks each so total of 4 marks]].

Hmm interesting, thought the marks were a bit different but that's alright. Can't remember that exam that well ;)

wasnt it justify your choice of strata?
the only indicators for mortality strata are U5MR and adult mortality 15-59.
