I never wanted to get a high atar, but not a crappy one either

Doing some practice exams I realised I have no idea, it's just too hard.

Can I learn anything in 3 days...or should I divert to other subjects?

Yeah you can! Start with the easier papers such as Insight, TSSM then move onto harder ones like VCTA, NEAP, CSE if you have time :)

I'd recommend doing NEAP, VCE Publishing, Insight and the VCAA sample paper if you have the time, and that should keep you set :)
That VCAA sample exam should provide a good indication of the actual exam.

I haven't done many accounting exams over the past few weeks, but I have been reading over notes and preparing answers for discuss questions so those are some other things you could do :)

looking over past papers is the best way to learn. Memorise the way VCAA answer the questions. Because there are only so many questions they can ask on accounting.. And then just read over some notes.

Put it this way: if it weren't for cramming, uni students would never pass anything ever.

I agree with others in recommending past papers. The range of theory questions that can pop up on the exam is quite narrow, and limited by the syllabus itself. That means the real challenge will likely come from practical questions, and the best way to improve on these is obviously through practice.

It's a vicious cycle.
I'm cramming for my uni accounting exam! hehe I've got a few days to prepare for it along with another subjct :( I didn't do vce accounting but I assume doing a few previous VCAA exams and knowing some theory/transactions would give you a decent shot at getting an ok grade :)

Wait until you get to be a third year or a fourth year. You'll have mastered the art of cramming anything into a 24h period.
