Minimum ATAR with SEAS

I want to go to Melbourne for Arts, however I've been ill a lot this year. I've applied for SEAS and I'm presuming I'll have a fairly strong application.
If I get 84, and the minimum is 85, will I still have a chance of getting in?
The clearly-in is 91 by the way.
2012 ATAR: 96.40 - Psychology [50] Health and Human Development [45] ~ 2013: B.A - University of Melbourne

I'm in a similar boat to you, would be interested to hear the answer.

I think access melbourne is around 74 or 78, so i think low 80's should get you in

Access Melbourne has various criterae. For entry into Bachelor of Environments, its 78 with SEAS, down from 85 standard. Bachelor of Commerce-88 down from 93 min. Bachelor of Arts as stated, 85. Bachelor of Biomedicine goes down to 93-94 if I recall. Not sure about the other under-graduate courses.

-Mathematical Methods

I thought the access melbourne scores on the website were only for financially disadvantaged?
but thanks, i'll just cross my fingers and hope an 85 is on its way haha :)

According to the melb uni website for applicants from a Disadvantaged financial background, and/or
from rural or isolated areas, an ATAR of:
Quote
78 or above — guarantees a place in Arts, Environments or Science
88 or above — guarantees a place in Commerce
95 or above — guarantees a place in Biomedicine
------------------------------------------------------> :D <-----------------------------------------------------

Ohhh sorry, you said this wasn't for financially disadvantaged. I reckon you might have a chance. It's still higher than 78.

Does it matter which criteria you meet? I thought that the min ATAR cover every SEAS applicant.

I think it will very much depend on the case you put forth, but as far as i know, no one has gotten in below the minimum scores set forth in those guarantee offers.

What if I get an ATAR above the minimum but bellow the clearly in? I applied for SNAP at RMIT by the way.
