Heh, was aiming for 47... But no chance of that.
Would be extremely happy with 44, happy with 43, okay with 42

So you think it's still possible to get 40 raw if you only get 34-35/40 for exam 1 (what I probably got)?

Yeah definitely, I got an A on exam 2 and managed a 40 raw :)

Well it was possible last year anyway (still depends on the year a little bit), got a B+ on exam 1, lost like 5 marksish I think, and got 41 in the end, you just have to do quite well on exam 2 though (was rank 1 aswell).

I honestly don't know, didn't get a statement of marks and refused to look at sols that night as looking at them the day before got me down. So I don't know, but I think I would of got close, luken was in a similar situation, remember a thread somewhere last year where we kinda had to pump each other up again to move on.

EDIT: Found the thread if anyones interested -> Who's had a terrible exam period?

:X yeah you must have gotten very close to full.
Hopefully a few things fall my way and i get 37/40 for this exam 1
I'm better at exam 2's, so hopefully i'll be able to get 80/80 and get at least a 41 with the most likely 35/40 for ex 1.
80/80 easier said than done though :\

I don't understand how you can get an 80/80 for Exam 2 and a 35/40 for Exam 1 and expect to only get a 41 raw?! This makes it seem really hard to get a 40 raw. :(

40 raw is hard in spesh. 80/80 and 35/40 would probably be above 41, but i want 'at least 41'
Hence i need to ensure i'm at 80/80 or extremely close to 80 to get a 43-44 (which is my 'aim')

 :o

So I have no chance of getting 40 raw then. I got 34 for Exam 1 (worst case) and the best I can do in Exam 2 is probably 70/80. :( :(

Seriously? Losing 5 marks means NINE study scores? That seems a bit much.. I think what happened last year seems to have changed peoples predictions for scores, but surely the cut off for this year won't be nearly as high??

Oh sorry. Still, youre saying 5 marks lost = 6-7 study scores lost?
