In the end though, the thing with driving is being aware and being careful, you can be the most technically able driver in the world, but if you're not aware and careful, you will still crash.
On the road, as long as you're not stupid, you should be OK, it's pretty hard to crash when you have a good view around you, keep a safe distance from the car in front and don't attempt to run red lights...etc.
It's generally in places where it's harder to see or be observant where accidents occur - most notably tight places like markets, carparks...etc. you're not gonna kill yourself if you hit another car in a carpark at 5 - 10km/h but just from experience, I've scratched my car on posts and have honked at drivers doing ridiculous things (like reversing out of a parking space when I'm coming straight at them) + being honked at myself, multiple times. It's probably the place where you're most likely to dint your car.
