A lot easier than unit 3 exam. I think the A+ cut off range will be pretty damn high!

Just realised... 15 is D. You work out the no. of mole of steam (100/18) then multipy it by the 54kjmol-1 and then you need to add to it the temperature change which would be (E=SHC x m x temp change = 4.18 x 100 x 80 = 33400J). Then convert to kJ = 33.4kJ and add it to the previous answer. which would be 33.4 + 300 = 333.4kJ

I felt this exam was unfair to the top chemistry students (not me). I've done next to no study for U4 and found it super easy, didn't allow the top kids to shine through IMO

Well that % dissociation question polarised many of the smart people at my school, plus because it was so easy they'll probably be really critical on explanation/definition questions.

What do you think study score, 100% sacs, dropped 3.5 mid year, and 3 marks end of year? Thanks

If I got low A for midyear (yeah I don't know), rank 1 or 2 out of 36 for SACs in a strong cohort, and mid A+ for this exam can I squeeze a 40? Or am I out of the running for it?

Would I lose the whole mark if I had working out and wrote 0.72 tonnes instead of the proper answer of 7.2 tonnes? I hope not :/

sorry but there are no half marks , half marks occur wen one assessor gives 2/3 and the other 3/3 etc (exam is marked twice)

What about 70/75 for midyear and 67-69/72 end of year? Rank 1, in a medium cohort. Thanks
