post exam questions and rants

the bag was way too time consuming to draw ;/. i skipped it when i realised i would take 25minutes to fully render it. i think it shouldnt be worth 12 marks.

also for the isometric usb question, did the back of the usb have a hole? the back of my usb looked like this: http://imgur.com/rgJvz.

and for the orthogonal question, where it made you fill in the missing details. i had 1 line for the top view and 1 line for the front view, but no line for the side view. i also used the 3rd angle symbol thingy. is this correct?

also agree that bag was so time consuming mine looked like shit but overall i think it was a very easy exam compared to other years

was tooo rusheedd!!....bag required too much detail therefore my t-shirt didn't look as good as it couldve!!

I DID THE USB THE WRONG WAY, its so depressing I did the front, I want to kick myself now. I was rushed and yeah the rendering question took me about 25 minutes which is ridiculous for 12 marks. The rest of it was easy enough to complete. You weren't required to draw the orthogonal symbol for that question thingo, it was only 3 marks and only said to do the missing lines.

For the usb though I did it all right i'm pretty sure like isometric wise, will i even get any marks for doing it the wrong way?

...I still don't know what a usb housing is.
Anyway, the hidden lines confused me, as well as the circle.

The rendering didn't take me too long like what everyone else above me has said. Overall, it wasn't too terrible.

ur not the only one on the t-shirt design!!..lol...pretty crummy exam but wasn't too hard just time consuming which is obvious in rushed desgins!!

The third-angle orthogonal symbol was not required, as the question only asked to draw in the missing lines on the views. I had one line for each view.
   I agee that the bag was far too time consuming to render. I was rushing the entire way through! Also, with the isometric drawing of the USB, I really struggled trying to draw those stupid flicks on the end. However, I felt that the exam in general was fairly straight forward compared to past exams I'd completed.

Same here. Mine was so crappy as I left it to the end and therefore had ten minutes to complete it. Result: complicated and messy looking design with pathetic colouring-in skills.
