Anyone remember that emotion-focused coping strategy question?
« on: November 14, 2012, 09:48:31 pm »
well, i just remebered but the question was like this girl was really stressed becuause she just lost her part time job (i tihnk she was fired) but anyway the question asked was like 'give an example of an emotion focused coping strategy that she could use'.
I put down, she should go home and release her anger (the question said she was angry) on her pillow by punching it over and over again until she calms down and her stress level decreases.....will i still get the mark? thanks! ;D

mm i dont know... you may have been not specific enough im not sure. in the grivas textbook there is a small list of emotion coping strategies under the sub heading and relevant text. some are denial, acceptance ect.... if you explained your answer im sure you will be fine! nothing can be done now, just do things you enjoy and stop worring about the exams until the 17th :) good luck!!!
