How did everyone go?
« on: November 15, 2012, 03:35:42 pm »
New study design and so a new exam!
How was it guys?!
I personally found it good, apart from section B, im really hoping ive nailed it haha.
Section B was just a bit ehhh because in the insert, it said we needed to show our knowledge about langauge variety and social purpose, and identity.
So I ended up including a paragraph on identity haha.. not sure if that was the right thing though!

It wasn't too bad. My essay sucked though :( Section B was reasonable I thought. Fairly straight forward! So glad it's over though!

Feel exactly the same way! My essay wasn't as strong as I'd liked but I think the short answer and analytical were very accessible :) oh well, I'm over it, no more Eng Lang!

I did the first one, the language and Identity one. I just felt all my examples and points were fairly average :( ah well, it's over!

Pretty sure I stuffed up my essay but I was quite happy with my analysis and I think I may have answered one of the short answer questions incorrectly.

But on the whole, I think it wasn't that bad.

I was silently weeping with hope when I found out section B was in informal. And everything else was relatively straight forward too :)
If I manage to get into Arts/Law at Monash, it truly will be a Christmas miracle.
