Hey everybody!

Pretty keen on doing Commerce at ANU, and was wondering if current/past students could review this degree for me in terms of reputation, quality of work, employment opportunities etc.

And in regards to accommodation, what are the options available nearby campus?

Thanks!

I don't know anything about the commerce department, sorry.

As far as accommodation goes, on-campus accommodation prices can be seen here. There are a bunch of different catered and self-catered halls and you can look at a brief 'summary' of them here.

Living off-campus is kinda expensive in Canberra, I think there is some sort of housing shortage, although I'm not 100% sure.

Check out the other threads about accommodation on here and also on boredofstudies.org, there is plenty of relevant discussion :)

The CBE department is rubbish IMO. I'm not discouraging you from coming to ANU but I really dislike CBE. More specifically it's the quality of lecturers and tutors that really angers me as well as just how it's run (I can only compare it to Computer Science which is way better).

I don't know how it ranks compared to other unis (go with word of mouth rather than any newspaper rankings)
