ATARNotes 2012 Meetup

It's that time of the year again! To avoid confusion, this is the most up to date and current thread, all others will be locked.

Date: Sunday 9th December

Where: Park close to Melbourne Aquarium, opposite Crown Complex, on the Yarra River.

How to get there: Take the train to Flinders Street, take either the route 31, 70 or 75 trams until you see Melbourne Aquarium - get off at this stop. You'll need to walk past the aquarium and then turn right. (A couple of us will be there setting up a little earlier, so come say hi to us  )

Other: It would be really good if you could please bring 2-3 dollars to contribute to the cost of the barbeque, and/or a snack. You're also welcome to bring any misc snacks and/or games etc with you if you like.

Ways to get there.

-Vehicle (Park at Crown)
-Train to Southern Cross, take the 96 or 112 Tram (there are probably a couple more) towards Port Melbourne/St Kilda
-Train to Flinders Street Station, any tram down Flinders Street and get off at Melbourne Aquarium

I need help tomorrow morning buying groceries. Sausages, some chips, a couple soft drinks maybe.

If everyone could bring a small snack, and a couple of dollars to go towards paying for the stuff that would be great. Anyone with BBQ Utensils please let me know, that would be highly appreciated as well.

To sum the day:

-Dev tells me to meet them (Phy, Dev, and MyNameIsBob) outside Southern Cross. I don't know where to go until I see Phy's hair. (Thanks man)
-We buy meat.
-We go to the meeting spot, where white people actually outnumber the Asians. Racist jokes ensue.
-Dev handles meat like a pro.
-We all eat Dev's meat.
-Thushan and I have a running race. Thushan narrowly wins.
-Dan wants to have a running race with Thushan.
-Ready, set, go.
-They begin running.
-Oh... what's that... Dan looks off balance?!
-Oh... what's that? Dan is DEFINITELY off balance?
-Dan DOES A FUCKING BARREL ROLL on straight up concrete.
-Brenden runs to 7-11 and buys antiseptic. Then we go bandage Dan's arm and it felt intimate.
-We go play pool and HighLatency is terrible and we play a 40 minute game because no one playing could pot a ball.
