This is not an official ad just yet, but I figured I would post the good news for ATARNotes peeps:
Connect Education is going to be running an English Headstart Summer School program in January.The details are being finalised at the moment, but at the moment, here are some rough details to ponder in excitement:
*The school will most likely run across approximately two to three days, with each day being comprised of two to three hours of total classes.
*Class sizes will be capped out at around 10 students. Multiple streams will be run.
*All three aspects of the VCE English course will be taught, beginning with the basics, and quickly moving on to advanced techniques/essay structures and golden tips for the exam.
*There will be a small section dedicated purely to oral presentations and developing top tier writing skills.
*All students will receive a detailed set of notes, including samples from students who obtained study scores of 45+.
*Personalised feedback will be provided - every student enrolled in the program will be encouraged to submit homework every day, which will be marked in detail for the students.*Price will be extremely cheap - nothing is absolutely certain yet, but we are looking at the vicinity of
less than $15 per hour.We want this to be a comprehensive, accessible program that will prepare any student - from those without any confidence to those aiming for the top scores - for a very successful year in VCE English.
