Through the irc channel, the day results came out, was looking for help accessing them online!

so how come you came up with the idea?
why did you want to start the site?

I was under the impression it was also because he was so argumentative on BOS, they kicked him out. Worth remembering next time his distinct style of debate gets up your nose, that we might not have this great resource without it! ;)

Nowdays just helping out where I can on the maths boards, just to give something back to a great resource and community that helped me a lot during year 12.

Indeed you do.
AN is by far and away the most accurate resource for tricky VCE Maths queries.
There is nothing TrueTears and his little helpers can't do :)

I think it was after unit 1 exams where I considered doing spesh or moving back to methods, searched up the key words and found another forum but it wasn't active, clicked a link and was quite pleased to found out this forum was quite active. and joined.

I first came exposed to AN at the end of 2011 through a quick search on who was better between Derrick Ha and Dr. He. Didn't head back until I started searching for some John Monash resources and it was mainly 'Yahoo answers' that I was getting but there was one thing from AN just about JMSS in general.

I guess reading 'all' (Yes I did read all of it) made me interested in AN and I made an account. I didn't post a few days since it is a VCE site (was nervous and wondered what people would think) but made my first thread/post. After that I stuck around lurking on AN and found it pretty interesting learning about VCE so I won't be treading in unknown territory later on :P

But AN is REALLY addicting and literally I'm on everyday XD
Just the fact that you belong in a community who share your views in helping others is great and looking at what others can accomplish on this site is absolutely amazing!

I was looking for resources at the start of the year so I googled around for some resources (like practice exams, notes, etc) online.  I eventually joined the forum because I thought there were perhaps a few hidden gems interms of practice exams if you know what I mean ;)

Well I made my account in Feb or something like that but I have no idea why because I didn't even know what the site was when I came in around May or so. I googled a psych question because I disagreed with a company practice exam (I was totally right) and AN came up. Then I saw more Psych questions and went crazy answering them. And now IRC.
