Glad you're enjoying your christmas pressie. Re: the creases, it's all down to how Auspost handles the box we send. We bubblewrap the books so they can't really do any serious damage. But if they don't take care with your box, it'll sadly rattle around their van and a couple of creases will form. Especially when there's only one book in the box, there's more room to move.

Basically complain to AusPost.

But hold on, if this had happened before, wouldn't you think of maybe using a smaller box to fit one book in since you would already know that this would happen? This would decrease stuff like this happening again.

A smaller box wouldn't rattle as much or if not, at all, thus would not form creases on a book I have paid full price for and was meant to be NEW.

Are you seriously trying to make such a big deal out of a couple of creases that you want us to buy new bulk packaging? Most boxes do not get mishandled and arrive in perfect condition. We're not going to buy new bulk packaging (running into 4 digits of cost) just because a very small minority are getting very lightly scuffed.

If you're that unhappy with the condition of the book, you are welcome to return it to Level 28, 303 Collins Street and exchange it for a "NEW" copy. Please PM me to organise a time to come in.
