Scaling for english?

Why does it go down so much?

YEA. English went down by quite a bit. I think it was because as a whole the english exam was easier than 2011.

It has nothing to do with the easiness of the exam.
It has to do with how good the English cohort does in their other subjects and since Lit/EngLang/EAL kids outperformed the english kids by much more this year, English scales down by more and EAL scales (for me) up by 1.31.

2012: English (47) Italian (29) Methods (36) Physics (39)
ATAR: 98.40
