hey guys, sorry to drain it.

Firstly, I was wondering whether or not my ATAR is considered when after completing three years of biomedicine, I wish to transfer into optometry/physiotherapy/vet science?

Secondly, If i have structured my biomedicine course for Medicine, How hard is it to do transfer into post-grad engineering? and are there any extra years I must complete, or simply choose the right major?

Thirdly, as I scored an ATAR above 98.5 I have a guaranteed entry into post graduate vet science. Does this still apply after I do 3 years of biomedicine and then 1 year to cover my prerequisite subjects? Or will my ATAR be ignored at that stage?

a big thank you to whoever can tackle that! :)

First of all, after three years of biomed, you're not transfering, you're aplying for post grad study. Secondly, no your ATAR will not be considered. Just you GPA, GAMSAT and interview. Biomed is defeault structured for med. No matter what electives tyou chose in biomed, you fulfill med prerequesits. You can do a bioeng major however and do mast in eng after biomed. Your ATAR will not be considered for any post grad studies in all cases except those were gaurunteed entry is given (such as MD gauruntee for 99+)

Hey there,
If you're considering vet science seriously then you should probably do science not biomed cos you'll inevitably need to transfer into science in third year because biomed doesn't allow you to do the animal science subjects in third year.

Look at Q3 for more details.

Hope that helps.
