When are offers published in newspaper?

i know they are on vtac 17th @ 5pm

but are they published in the newspaper on the 17th or the 18th?

Also, looking at the VTAC calendar, all course offers (except for teaching) are sent in the post on 18th January 2013. The following footnote was provided:

POST: Dates refer to when the majority of results/offer letters will be delivered to postal addresses. Delivery to locations outside metropolitan Melbourne may take longer.

Given this, offers will probably be published on the 18th to coincide with the postal delivery, or 19th at the latest.

Also, they don't publish names in the newspapers for privacy etc
