Both, love it's background noise and/or psyching up when working, and just as a genre in general.
I cannot listen to it when writing essays though - need silence when I'm writing an essay.

Haha nice.

If anyone's interested thought I'd share my playlist of top EDM songs that I love which is in the spoiler. Feel free to check it out. I just got them off Ytb or you can also use spotify. It's mostly house with some dub step and trance.

i have music playing nonstop when i study. i actually cant study properly without it (well i can but it makes it more fun). what i listen to is usually trap music, deep house or even some lebanese music LOL
Lately i've been into really calming music - so i've got a band called London Grammar playing on repeat to keep me calm. It's helped i guess, you guys should check out their music. My favourite song of theirs is called Sights

Yeah pretty much went through Proximity and chose all the songs that were the best. Proximity is pretty amazing - the artists on there do some seriously awesome stuff. They have a really progressive sound too - lots of experimentation and different techniques rather than the same stuff that is modern trance these days unfortunately a lot of the time.

I'm with you on Tomorrowland!  :)

Proximity is really good but their really recent stuff didn't really impress me much. Another channel which uploads great progressive house is "ThrillingMusic", check it out some time :).

Uh huh, i guess we just need to live stream it. But the live stream is pretty shit because there's live sets for like 3 minutes then some interview thingy and animations going through the garden with the voice over and all, well that was last year dunno if its going to change.

Let's all just get on a plane and abandon VCE for Tomorrowland. It'll be worth it.

Edit: I wish....

Just getting out of the winter sounds good enough. A weekend in Belgium would just top it off.

And right? Two weekends, damn they're pulling out all the stops this year. Did you guys see the Tomorrowland 2014 bracelets?

Yeah they are making heaps of money and wow technology has gone pretty far, it's well thought through. We don't see many Aussies head over there, usually more of the Europeans :/.
