Does anyone have some advice on what to do in this situation.

Basically, for religion we had an essay set for holiday homework, I wasn't bothered to do it during the holidays so said I would do it in my free period before religion first day back. However I found it too hard. I've been trying to delay handing it in, thinking I would understand it more in the future if I slept over it and worked more but I simply can't do it and I know I've delayed it enough with excuses and avoidance plans and my teacher is going to demand to see the essay tomorrow even though I have the briefest, shittiest plan only.

What should I do? I'm worried the teacher would be angry at me and may kick me out of the class or something (not out of the subject, just out of class until the work is done). Religions is one of my strengths and I really worry I'm giving the teacher the wrong impression here, I'm just really bad at asking for help because most of the time I don't need it with school work so things tend to compound like this. :/ :(

Probably the best thing to do at this point is to use that brief, shitty plan and smash out an essay. It sucks I know, but sometimes we just have to do it. I'm sure the teacher would be more upset if you don't hand in anything so just do your best given your lack of preparation. If they kick you out of class for the day it absolutely isn't the end of the world and they'll most likely do it simply to set an example for others.

I reckon go spend 45 minutes of pure writing regardless of the quality, then step back for 15 minutes and see if there was anything decent. Hopefully after this you'll start to see some sort of structure and then you can make your life a lot easier with the essay.

Thanks. I'm going to give that a try. Hopefully I can get something that isn't too bad. Going to turn of the internet on my computer for 45 minutes and see what happens with this thing.  :-[

Man, I am 900% over folios. I'm not sure whether to console or terrify myself with the thought that there's only nine weeks left.

Also, man, so many EDM fans here. O.o
Tell me about it. I'm so far behind with my folio too.

I hate chemistry, and everything to do with it.

The most apt description I've ever heard describing my feelings towards chemistry

Our teacher went away, and we found out from our new teacher that we're meant to have finished all our development by like, yesterday.

...most of us are still on research. WHOOPS.

(and ive decided that im just going to be forever behind on food tech/art)

Just had parent tecaher interviews. Did better than expected. Extremely pleased with English and with methods the most. I've got from 35% to 44% to 80%. So hopefully the rise  continues to increase and plateus at a decent range!

That's why you don't do spesh lel

I dropped it because I hated it at the end of year 11. This year I'm doing subjects which I all actually enjoy - granted less scaling but I figure better have more enjoyment and chances are you score higher in subjects you enjoy

Was going to ask for those people studying chem - how do you guys best study it/revise it. Writing notes? Reading textbooks? Or just doing trial exams?

I haven't yet figured out the best way to revise for the end of year exam and am super interested in hearing your thoughts.
I tend to write notes but I'm wondering if its as effective as just doing trial exams.

Feeling pretty good about everything today. Have been working hard all week to be able to have a stressless weekend with my partner (as stressless as possible)

Only weekend homework is my second draft for my creative response for Lit, some methods practice analysis task questions and sac revision for Monday for health. Woo.
It's a really nice feeling.
