Whilst I have no regrets in life (yet), if I were to give myself some advice, it would run pretty contrarily to "Year 11 doesn't matter".

If only I stuck by this awesome mentality until next year. I miss that.

I can say that doing two year twelve subjects, I am NOT neglecting Chemistry, English or Math Methods. Physics I'm sort of neglecting but at the moment I'm doing really well because I understand the topics in class that are discussed. Its just that in terms of studying for the tests/assessments, its definitely not the same time I dedicate for Biol or Further Maths. I usually study the night before the assessments and still manage to pull 85+, which for the moment, I'm happy with for my 1+2s. However, I put in about a week+ worth of work in preparation for a Biology of Further Mathematics SAC, simply because of the difference of significance/importance of marks.

I really am loving Biology + Further Maths, and so I think that I'm trying to go all out to try and obtain the best possible marks. As for my year 11 subjects, I LOVE them ALL!! Especially English and Mathematical Methods!

Good to hear! Seems like you are doing great!

I am guilty of slacking in my 1/2s D: Mainly putting most of my work into Methods. I just don't get the motivation to really study for my 1/2s. They seem pointless to study for in comparison to 3/4.

Hmm I should start to really trying for English even though I got pretty good results from just winging my essay, I'm starting to full behind in chem (which is not good)

Thats so true; I guess doing two year 12 subjects is like double that feeling; I think that I'm focussing most on English, Chem + Methods. I live Physics but there has to be one subject I pay least attention to. In saying that, I'm acing Physics!!

I was doing really well in all my subjects but sometimes the stress gets to me and I do tend to neglect my 1 and 2s a bit. As long as I still get a's in them I'm not too fussed. There is definitely more pressure doing two year 12 subjects but it is also really fun at times :)

So true. I always ponder over the fact that I'm doing 2 year 12 subjects, and its really a feeling of being in year 12. You have to juggle two subjects rather than 1, just as you'll be juggling 4 year 12s and not one. Its good to be able to, at this stage even, learn how to manage time! I love my year 12 subjects as well. Biology is my favourite, but I love Further Maths + its nice and easy!

Haha I am guilty of slacking off in 1/2's as well.

Probably my biggest slacking subject is the Gen B Maths which leads up to Specialist, the first half of the book is like a mix of year 12 further and year 12 methods, which I have both finished, so I sort of chill in that subject, probably should just go ahead but I'm too lazy haha.

Yeah I'm currently also getting 80+ results for my year eleven subjects. Not too fussed about my 87% for my Area of Study 1 Chemistry test.
Hmm, in my Year 11 Physics I got an 85% on my Electricity test (lowest mark the whole year), at the time I had the long core further SAC and my Methods first SAC.

I'm pretty much trying to get by in all my 1/2's, understand everything as well as I can but not do anything too extravagent.

I've done my English + Religion exam on Friday. What exams/when do you have them. Mine are:
Tuesday: Methods Exam 1 + Physics
Wednesday: GAT
Thursday: Methods Exam 2
following Tuesday: Chem

My stupid curriculum coordinator made yr 11 exams the same week as the GAT, completely neglecting the fact that there are over thirty students who will be sitting for the GAT. Mind you, she was never oblivious to this... she's just malevolent!! lol

I would argue that sitting them in the same week as the GAT is a good thing.

I'm just angry because it means I have to sit my Chem exam the following week, wasting time from studying for 2 important year 12 SACs, one of which is the day AFTER the Chem exam (same day) lol.
