I'm about to write a Text Response and a Context piece to hand in today with yesterday's Language Analysis.

Then I'm going into school for an English class and to pick up Bio stuff (sort of neglecting that a bit - oops) and HHD too.

I've got a class from 10-12PM today for language analysis revision that I'm attending. Until then, I'm hoping to read through some context pieces I've written. I'm bored of home so I think I'll go to the library after my class. Happy studying everyone !

Yeah I took yesterday off. Only doing English from now until Wednesday. But it's been so hot here (Mildura)... 38 yesterday... :s

Today at school was an absolute waste of time. So annoyed. No one is even studying. I think I'll go back one day next week to see teachers again but that's it.

All I did today was go to school to receive my 6 or so essays I wrote for English. Now I just want school to end and I don't even care because I got marks like 11/20, 13/20, 14/20. I hate it I tried so hard

Are those marks in order - like did you get 11/20 for an earlier one and 14/20 for a later one?

Maybe seek feedback on one/two essays at a time rather than 6, so you can improve?

We had a second english practice exam at school today - for people who wanted the practice which I thought was a really good idea.

My teacher is now marking 87 Essays tonight so he can hand them back to us tomorrow so we have them for the week-end

no I just wrote 7 essays and got 4 back and they were all bad. I haven't had anyone to mark them so I just kept writing thinking I was doing well now I find out I'm doing bad, just makes my stomach drop.

Your teacher is awesome. I wouldn't call it clear. He just wrote on some things like 'define the origins of the American Dream' or he wrote out his interpretations of the prompt without really telling me what he would do beyond that, just ideas which don't make much sense. Oh well I can only do my best, I'm happy enough just completing year 12.
