I seriously hate my life. It was really chilly last night when I was going to bed, so I put my heater on the maximum to quickly heat the room up so I could turn it off. Whenever I leave it on I always get sick for some reason. You guessed it, I left it on now I have the flu or some shit. OMGGGG when I'm writing my essay shit is just going to drip from my noseeee omggggggg kill me.

Hey guys, my conflict piece is similar to what you are all brainstorming in regards to social constructs and it's view on moral imposition etc.

Just wondering if you could please brainstorm again some ideas for this prompt?

New environments create conflict

doesn't have to fit my form, just need some ideas! thanks

We'll be in reading time now and I'll be reading through my LA probably the second or third time round.

Speaking of reading time, how do you guys use it?

I'd be starting writing now ... for the next 3 hours.

P.S. As if you can read through your LA three times? I feel as though the article length is always just long enough to let you spend about 2 minutes overall on section A + B then reading it twice with about 15-30 seconds spare every time.

First look at the text and conflict prompt but I don't plan them. Once I've seen them I start reading section C for a few times

I only read the LA. I don't even look at TR & context.

I do this too. When I'm reading the piece for about the 2nd time, I try to start grouping things together in my head. I say them over and over to myself in my head, like what "category" I'm calling it. So if it's an appeal to equality, I'll say "equality, equality, equality" a few times to myself to make it stick so when I annotate and plan I don't forget. I then spend 3-4 minutes annotating when writing time starts and I'll number things as to what order I'll write about them in.

If I'm feeling good with LA during reading time I have a quick glance at text response and context.

Wouldn't you rather ideas to flow around in your head? Seems like you'd be throwing yourself on the spot after you finish LA for a frantic few minutes thinking about what you're going to write about.

I like to keep my mind fresh for LA. No distrations - I usually finish LA in no more than 50 minutes if I can properly devote time in reading time. 50 mins LA, 50 mins TR and 35 mins context.
