This is a bit (okay very) melodramatic haha, but has anyone else considered just not finding out their ATAR? Because, as I'm absolutely petrified of failure after trying so hard all year, I'm contemplating just not looking. I'll have an idea of what I got when offers come out, which will be enough I guess. There's just something so daunting about receiving an actual number  :-\ Ahh I'm just so terrified  :'( :'( :'(

These pre-result feelings are terrible  :-\

I had a really bad dream last night..where I woke up on results day and I was on the website, and I had just put in my log in and everything and I'm waiting for the page to load. And I got this text on the screen that said something like "68% of people get a score between 0 and 90, it is likely that your score is 0" :'(
Not joking when I say I am now scared to death to see my results..

I can understand guys because my exams didn't all go according to plan. I completely screwed up Physics and Methods exam 2. English you can never really know, and Chem & Methods exam 1 could be laden with silly errors. But the best thing to do is confide in the fact that we've done our best, and whatever happens, happens!

I think I'm going to check my ATAR. I don't care either because I just want to get into my course. However, I'm a person who needs closure. It's so amazing how the significance of our ATARs will diminish in like a few years. Thus, we shouldn't get too worked up on it! Hopefully we are all pleasantly surprised :)

No, don't feel like this Anna! You probably had this dream because it is a defence mechanism to usually under estimate the results or outcome of things in order to help avoid feeling disappointment. You'll do so much better than that.

Even if you are a little disappointed come December 15th, your ATAR won't even matter in a couple of months. Once offers for courses come out, no one even cares. No one will ask you what you got, and in fact, you probably won't even remember what you did get because it just doesn't even matter anymore. As much as disappointment can hurt, look forward and not back, because what's done is done. You can't change any of it, but you can act now to change the outcome of the future and get back on track to where you want to be.

I'd love to not know. I don't care about the number at all. I'd like to know what I get for German but that'll mean seeing my other study scores as well and then I'll basically know what I got for my aggregate and therefore ATAR. 90+ plz...

Can anyone recommend any good movies to watch that are not too popular/mainstream but rather semi-obscure? I'm looking into ranging from Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Comedy.

An interesting movie I watched (like at 1am before my exam) was called 'Another Earth'...I kinda enjoyed it, it's a sci-fi drama

and once you got a job you will be like...... i'd rather spend my morning at the gym.

I hate my work but too bad i have to pay my phone bills, petrol, clubbing fees and oc money for alcohol.... $$$

As for the ATAR i don't really understand why people stress, it is done and dusted. Nothing can change it now right? Rather than running away from reality, not checking the score and stressing out, just accept what you get, we have to face it later anyhow. I'm sure people who dedicate time on a study site like this will do above average and most of you guys would of tried your best. There's just so many other pathways that i don't even care what i get anymore, i will still get into my course...

BTW WHO IS EXCITED FOR SCHOOLIES ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I know em' feels. Especially when you go to school to do some administrative stuff and all of your cohort is no longer gone; just some random faces you've never seen and awkward conversations with past teachers, lol.

I miss my classes now tbh :((
