Congratulations to everyone ! Every single person has done so very well and I'm proud of all of you ! Well done guys :)
I was so sad about my own result this morning but after speaking with heaps of people/ranting whatever I have a good result that I can be proud of. So to those people that helped me out - THANKYOU ! You know who you are ;)

I was feeling great about life and everything was dandy..until I came back here tonight. Seeing everyone's much better scores and everything has just made me more depressed about my own so I think I'm just going to stay away from this site for a while. Good luck to everyone with their offers :)

Any chance we can submit SEAS or anything similar despite the fact the deadline was months ago?

I just found out my family receives Tax Benefit A, and I also receive Youth Allowance, which qualifies for the criteria in Access Melbourne

Well for Monash I am aware there's this

Not sure about UoM though

This might sound strange, but I feel a little empty now that it's all over. Sure, VCE was stressful at times, but it was great to be part of this supportive community with a common goal. Now everything seems kind of barren; what am I supposed to obsess about now? Where to from here?

New chapter in life :-)

^this. When I was at work today, Steer by Missy Higgins came onto the radio. Not all of you may be familiar with the song (great song btw, would recommend) but there's a little bit I want to share with you that I think is particularly relevant now we have out ATARs.

"And your heart is fierce
So now you finally know that you control where you go
You can steer"

Feel that fire in your belly to direct your life in the direction you want it to. Silly SAC systems, scaling, VCAA etc are no longer telling us what to do and how to do it. From here on in, it's all about us and directing ourselves.

I've always loved this song, but after hearing it today I love it even more. I feel more passionate than ever about where I'm headed, and I hope sharing these lyrics make some of you also feel this way Whether you got a high enough ATAR to get into your first preference, or got stuffed up by the UMAT and now have to do postgrad. med to become a doctor (*looks at Yacoubb in particular*) it's now really in your hands.

So leap in.

Does the statement of marks only include your examination score, or your actual GAs too? I heard that I need to also get a statement of study score, if I wanted to find out. Is this true?

I think there are two types of statements! Just check the form, it's really straightforward!

Seas isn't applicable for chancellors

Its 90.00+ if you are from Aboriginal/Torres Strait background

99.85+ if you are applying for the Bachelor of Music

And at least 99.90+ for everyone else

What ATAR will be competitive for an access Melbourne Scholarship? I got 96.15, will that be close?
