Why don't we think of a slogan for AN and put it under the AN title?:

Such as:
"ATARNOTES - the superforum for everything academic and everything non-academic."
"If life is an endless maze, AN is your map"

...

Just realised these sound quite lame.

idk, i kinda like the header without the slogan - it looks more clean and minimalistic. creating a slogan for somewhere else on the site/products is a good idea though
