Redoing Unit 3&4 Chinese

Hi everyone,
I'm going to be redoing Unit 3 and 4 Chinese in 2013, and I was wondering if we can still enrol in early February when school starts, and if there is an extra fee I have to pay.
Also, does anyone have suggestions of good topics for the detailed study for SL students.

Thanks!  :)

Do not do it.

A mate of mine did Chinese in year 10, scored a 33, thought it wasn't good enough so she did it again in year 11, scored a 35. Not worth it.

Agree with qqla, Chinese isn't a subject where the final score determines the amount of effort you put in, you could be a mainland fluent speaker and do VCE Chinese and score very low. If you were redoing say, Methods, then it'll be worth it as you yourself have a lot of control over your final mark. In VCE Chinese, your final study score is very very subjective (and often "unfair") as there is alot of "politics" involved.

My advice: think what went wrong and determine if that is easy to fix. If not, move on and do other subjects. If chinese is your strength and u believe that u didnt do well because of being sick or other unfortunate event, I believe you can give chinese a 2nd shot. Hope this helps!

The subject is bloody corrupt as - teachers tweak SAC marks behind the scenes, give SAC topics to students they tutor, and a lot more horrible stuff

I got told that one teacher would make her class redo all their SATs until everyone got over 17/20 scores. Sounds tough.
CSL should be taken if you are confident in Chinese and/or can withstand having your confidence in Chinese shattered.
