For those already studying at Monash, did the info sessions help with unit enrolments ? Or did you have to figure it out yourself?
For science, we got an idea of what requirements we need to meet (nothing you cant find in the handbook) and members of each department (chemistry, physics, astronomy, biology, etc) gave little pitches about their areas and why we should do their subjects.
Nothing all that great or important honestly. If you got nothing else on that day and can be bothered, certainly can't hurt going. I know it seems important now but in hindsight its not something i'd blow off anything important for.
Likewise, the science faculty (same with arts, commerce, etc) has an office, with a desk staffed with people 9-5 whose sole job it is to inform you about courses, requirements, if you're progressing in the right way, etc. You can always pop down and ask them or email them.
