ANU offer email?

This is from the UAC offers page:
Quote
Offer text: To accept this offer, please go to http://students.anu.edu.au/applications/accepting.php and complete the on-line acceptance form. Information will be sent to you via email within 8 working days of this offer. For enquiries, please call 02 6125 5594

I'm just wondering what this email is and when should I expect to receive it? Has anyone else received it?

Oh and also, I filled out the online acceptance form today (was waiting for the email or letter to come first - it turned out that the letter just had the same information as the website), how long does it usually take for ANU to acknowledge that you've accepted your offer?

I've tried calling that phone number a couple of times to ask but haven't gotten a response (got a message saying "admissions office is not available").

Yep, I got the email today. It gives you your ANU Student ID and tells you that enrollment info is sent out in late January.

For accepting the offer you can use the UAC number or that ANU ID. Otherwise I think that ID is the one that sticks around with you and use to log into the student portal and what not.
