That is NOT where the confusion lies Dark Templar. The problem is if it is possible to name info that is sent to the LEFT HEMISPHERE (i.e. right visual field). Recognition might be dominant in RH but the Grivas book very clearly states that info in the right visual field CAN BE named even in split brain patients. BOTH HEMISPHERES CAN CERTAINLY RECOGNISE.

Yeah interesting points being put forward here

I personally would disagree with the answer you gave for 2a. Here's how I would've answered it

Information from the Right Visual Field goes to the left hemisphere. Because the brain areas involved in the production of speech is located in the left hemisphere (Broca's Area), the patient is able to name the object he has been shown.

yeah as it is a few months ago the examiners report of last years end of year psych exam wasn't up yeat either. (i think it was like may?)
